Hi, I'm Sean — founder of Pawvenue and, if I'm being honest, I'm a reformed dog person. Truly, i love all animals, so reformed might not be the best choice of words, but you get my drift...

It started with my ex-girlfriend. She was a cat person — a very convincing cat person — and she had two Bengal cats that were, to put it mildly, absolute chaos in fur form. High energy, impossibly entertaining, and weirdly magnetic. I went from "I'm a dog guy" to canceling plans to hang out with her cats faster than I'd like to admit.

There's actually a theory that cats release a parasite called Toxoplasma gondii that subtly rewires your brain to make you more attached to them. I'm not saying that's what happened to me. But I'm not not saying that either.

Fast forward to today — I have one cat of my own. Her name is Luci. Short for Lucifer. Because when she was a kitten she was a complete and utter terror who destroyed everything she touched and showed zero remorse. She's calmed down since then. Mostly.

I started Pawvenue because I wanted a place that took pet care as seriously as pet owners do. A store that curates the good stuff — premium products, trusted brands, and everything your pet actually needs to live their best life. No filler. Just the good stuff.
